The series consists of a Railroad Commission ledger, 1908-1924, recording railroad wrecks occurring in the state. Railroads were required to report any accidents on their lines in the state to the Railroad Commission. The reports include the railroad's name, place and date of the wreck, cause of the accident, and any resulting deaths or injuries.
